It moves a little slow in parts, tending to not progress anywhere fast (the second part of the book is basically just one huge dungeon crawl), but that's not necessarily a bad thing as long as you're aware of it. Well written, the book is perfect for audio - great narrator, not too many stats (but enough) and a fun story. After the first few chapters though it forges its own path. ![]() ![]() The start reminded me very strongly of the very excellent book 'Threadbare' - the MC is a summons who is new to the world, naïve to it's dangers, and must learn it's ropes. Despite not having litrpg or gamelit anywhere in the title, this book very firmly falls within the genre. ![]()
